About Mrs. Robyn Rush (7R)
My name is Robyn Rush and I am proud to be the seventh grade homeroom teacher at SS. Cyril and Methodius. I teach sixth and seventh grade Literature and English, along with being the NJHS advisor. I have my B.A. in English and my M.A. in Secondary Education, both from Saint Xavier University. Plus, I have my ESL endorsement from Lewis University. I am truly happy and blessed to be able to work with the wonderful students in order to help them reach their full academic potential. My goal is to give my students the skills they need to be strong and confident readers and writers. These skills will give them a very successful future.
Before coming to SS. Cyril and Methodius, I spent two years teaching sixth, seventh, and eighth grade language arts at Queen of the Universe, a Catholic school in the city. In addition, I spent two years working at Bremen High School in Midlothian, tutoring freshmen students in language arts and preparing the juniors for the writing portion of the ACT. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, curling up with a great book, and watching old black and white movies.
