Technology

SS. Cyril & Methodius has implemented a technology plan that safely introduces our students how to use technology as tools which enable them to better utilize their time in the classrooms.  Students are challenged and prepared  for high school and beyond.  We have Chromebooks and iPads  available to all students. SSCM has also moved to a Bring Your Own Device, BYOD, for 6th through 8th grade. This allows for Jr. High students to have access to technology whenever it is needed throughout the day. All students have access to using their school accounts to develop their skills using Google products, and other various software applications to all of our student from Kindergarten through 8th grade. The students learn the fundamentals of using the technology as tools to enable them to better utilize their time in the classrooms and prepare them for high school and beyond. Students produce reports, do online research, and collaborate on various assignments throughout the school year.  Additionally, SSCM utilizes  web based teaching tools such as Newsela, iReady and other various online resources and software applications to broaden the scope of our student learning experience.  Our school website, Homework Online, and PowerSchool are available to parents as a portal to their students activities and grades.
