SSCM invites all chess players from grades K through 8th to Join the Chess Club. Beginners and experts are all welcome.
Class dates To Be Announced
The goal of the Chess Club is to help the players:
- Learn the Rules
- Improve your strategy
- Play with your friends
- Professional instructors
- Play on the school team
- Beginners (brand new or not quite sure of the rules), Intermediate (knows how to play with basic understanding of strategies, Tournament Level (experienced or advanced player)
The Chess Club meets on Tuesday afternoons from 2:15 to 3:15. The fee is $80 for the club and materials for this session.

Chess Director reserves the right to remove any child from the program. Each child must be picked up promptly at the end of the Chess Club meeting.
