About Mr. Tony Fisher (Kindergarten)
I started at SSCM as the Kindergarten Teacher in January 2021. I have a Bachelor of Science in Education, Elementary Education from Chicago State University. I also have a Master of Arts in Education Administration from Governors State University. I have been in education for almost 40 years, teaching for over 20 years. I worked in the Chicago Public School. I started my teaching career in School District 144 at the Prairie Hills School District. Later, I went to the Chicago Public Schools. I taught at the Enrico Fermi Elementary School beginning in 1993 until 2001. I began my role as assistant principal at the Westcott Elementary and Murray Language Academy until 2004. Then I was promoted to principal at the James N. Thorp Elementary School until 2013. Afterwards, I served as a Principal/Assistant Special Education Director of South-Central Community Service and opened my own company as a professional developer and trainer for adult education.
In spite of all the experiences and achievement, God is the focus of my life. I have gone where He has sent me. I will continue to submit to His everlasting and ever-loving will for my life.
