Mrs. Tracey Ocampo – 2nd Grade

About Mrs. Tracey Ocampo (2nd)

My name is Tracey Ocampo and I feel very blessed to be teaching 2nd grade at SSCM. I have been a teacher since 1994! Prior to coming here, I taught kindergarten and first grade.  I live in Romeoville with my husband, Max, and our two “grown up” children; Annie, who just recently graduated from Lewis University and John, who has just completed his 3rd year at Bradley University in Peoria, studying Computer Science.
I obtained an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education at Triton College and a Bachelor of Arts degree at National Louis University.
Every year, I attend educational conferences or seminars to continue my education. Recently I’ve attended a training seminar with Wilson Language to learn about the “Fundations” program we are currently utilizing in kindergarten through second grade.  I’d welcome the opportunity to share more information about this, as well as the many things your child will learn in 2nd grade, including Reconciliation and First Holy Communion preparation.  I look forward to working with you and your child this school year!
