About Ms. Laura Smith ~ 2nd Grade
My name is Laura Smith and I am teaching 2nd grade once again at SSCM. This is an amazing school with great teachers, special families, and a respected leader. I graduated from Trinity Christian College with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I am currently working on my Masters degree as a reading specialist. This is my 12th year teaching with 4 of the years here. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade. Yes, I enjoy the younger ones. In addition to teaching, my family keeps me busy. My son is 28 years old and together we love to travel. Finally, in my free time, I enjoy reading, crafting and recently I have started to learn how to paint.
