The members of the Ecology Committee meet monthly to share their thoughts on how to keep the environment healthy, clean, and safe for future generations. The committee is in charge of our school’s recycling program and they plan ecology related activities that benefit our school and parish community. The Ecology Committee also helps plan events related to Earth Day.
Ecology Committee members would like to remind everyone to use the three R’s daily, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. To Reduce means to cut back on wasteful practices. To Reuse is to use a product again. To Recycle means to collect goods and use them in a different way. Make a difference by saving energy, water, and paper whenever you can.
The Ecology Committee meets the third Tuesday of the month from 2:15 P.M. to 2:45 P.M. For additional information please contact the school office at 630-257-6488 or the teacher advisors: Erin Stock (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Susan Tomala (email@example.com).
