Dear Parishioners,

Today marks the beginning of National Catholic Schools Week, the annual celebration of Catholic education and its focus on faith development, academic excellence and community service.  We have planned activities the entire parish community can enjoy.  Please join us!

Sunday, January 28, 2018:  “Celebrating SS. Cyril and Methodius Parish”

  • Opening Mass at 10:30AM
  • Students in uniform and families will be readers during the liturgy
  • Open House/Social and Book Fair in the school immediately following
  • For prospective families:
  • PreK-grade 2 presentation at 11:45 in the computer lab
  • Grades 3-5 presentation at 12:15 in the computer lab
  • Grades 6-8 presentation at 12:45 in the computer lab

Monday, January 29, 2018:  “Celebrating our Community”

  • Morning Prayer in church
  • Faith Partner Board Games during the day
  • Special art project

Tuesday, January 30, 2018:  “Celebrating our Faculty and Staff”


  • Teacher/Staff “out of uniform” day
  • New Parent “Open House” from 8:30-10:30AM
  • Faculty luncheon

Wednesday, January 31, 2018:  “Celebrating our Nation”

  • Special morning prayers over the PA
  • Red, white and blue dress down day for all
  • Prayer service and reception in the gym beginning at 9:00AM

Thursday, February, 1, 2018:  “Celebrating Vocations”

  • Special morning prayers over the PA
  • Vocation assembly in the gym at 10:00AM
  • All students in full uniform

Friday, February 2, 2018:  “Celebrating Students”

  • Special morning prayers over the PA
  • Closing Mass with community appreciation
  • Wheel of Wisdom
  • Pizza lunch
  • Out of uniform for all
  • Special game in the gym at 1:15
