Dear Parents,

I am pleased to announce some very exciting news regarding the State of Illinois Tax Credit Scholarship Program!  Once again, individual donors may contribute to the program and receive a 75% tax credit from the State of Illinois.  New this year, donations made will be matched at a 2:1 rate.  Please consider making a donation to the program and listing SS. Cyril and Methodius School to receive the funds.  A letter from the Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Jim Rigg and also an FAQ page is included in the bulletin.  Due to the generosity of a donor last year, we have several students currently attending our school who are tax credit scholarship recipients.

We are beginning the last week of school before Christmas, and a variety of special events will be taking place in our building.   Our Kindergarten and PreK students have been working together and will present their special Christmas program on Monday, December 17th at 9:00AM.  They will be joined by family and friends.

The students in Grade 1 will join with their Grade 8 Faith Partners to present our school’s Christmas pageant on Wednesday, December 19th at 1:00PM in the gym.

Grades 5-8 will join with the band and entertain us with beautiful Christmas music on Thursday, December 20th at 1:00PM.

Thank you to the students and teachers for all of their hard work in planning these beautiful events!

Congratulations to our Kindness Counts Students for November:
